Footpaths

Footpaths or Randonée can be found all over the local area. The sketch map below will give you an idea of the network. At the far end of the sport’s field is a path that links the campsite to the main beach at Le Pouldu.

Perhaps the best two footpaths are the cliff walk from Le Pouldu to the fishing port of Doëlan and the walk beside the river Laïta from Porsmoric to Le Pouldu-port.

The pictures below have been taken on these walks.

The walk from Porsmoric to Le Pouldu-port starts at the attractive mooring and slipway just down the hill from the hamlet.

Le Pouldu-port has a good restaurant that serves many of the local seafood dishes. There is also a new bar with a large garden that overlooks the river.

The costal path will give you views of the many fine beaches

A chance to rest and watch the sea.

Or cool your feet and think of a long cool drink at...

journey's end.

The footpaths can be used and enjoyed in early and late season as can be seen in this shot of a September walk through the woods near St Maurice.

Or around the port of Doëlan.
